In collaboration with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Al-Aghar Group prepared the national innovation ecosystem which involved organizations that were established to support innovation in Saudi Arabia . The group, thus, believed it’s necessary to study one of the national innovation system links and to conduct a case study on a selection of innovators who participated in Ibtikar Exhibition 2010 by documenting their journey of transforming their inventions into marketable products. The study aims at exploring the reality of innovation in the Kingdom and the possibility of transforming innovations into products as well as the real-life impediments that are faced in the process.
