Under the patronage and support of H.R.H. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, Governor of Makkah region, the launching of Jeddah Entrepreneurs Meet 2012 “JEM2012” under the theme “Promoting the Spirit of Enterprise” held place during 22-23 May 2012, in Laylaty Hall in the city of Jeddah. Jeddah Entrepreneurs Meet 2012, initiative is a considered a unique entrepreneurship competition and resulted from the collaboration of several parties including Al-Aghar Group, as the strategic consultant and the organizers: Jeddah Young Business Women’s Committee, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and TRACCS.
The Jeddah Entrepreneurs Meet 2012 “JEM2012” initiative was the platform that launched the Young Jeddah Entrepreneurs Competition “YJE” initiative. The collective efforts and objectives of both initiatives aim to become the catalyst for promising entrepreneurs to compete effectively. In result, this would pave the path for entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas and develop the required skills to support the success of their innovative emerging businesses.
